Today we had our July Playgroup. Good thing there was a nice big pavilion and a good breeze! Otherwise I don't think we would have made it very long. Naomi gets so excited when she is around other little kids.



After we were home we relaxed and took advantage of the AC. Then we put together Naomi's new big girl chair that Aunt Kathy had given her.



Later on I went on a PhotoWalk in Ellicott City that I had signed up for. This was my first one and I really enjoyed it, besides the fact that it was still boiling hot outside. It was as intimidating as I thought it would be, but being there with my friend Jen probably helped. Here are a few from the walk. You can see the rest Ellicott City PhotoWalk.

Tonight Naomi was Mommy and Daddy's helper. We were doing some cleaning and somehow Naomi ended up in the basket with the dirty clothes :)





Also Eric and I did our first walkthrough for our new house today! We are so excited and can't wait to move!

Almost 11 months (next week) and Naomi finally cut her 4TH tooth!! She cut her 3rd tooth only a few weeks earlier on July 4th. She was starting to look like she had a fang...haha! We have been waiting for the next one to come through because the gums were so thin.

Eric drove me to and from work today since I had to bring my car into the shop for service. And since he drove me we were both able to drop Naomi off at the sitter's. I think the best part of the day was when we pulled up to pick her up and she is waiting at the door, with the rest of the kids, staring out the window. Smushed face against the glass and all! I think they were actually fighting about who's turn it was to let the cat out and Naomi got in the middle of it...haha. But I'll just say she was waiting for her mommy and daddy :)

After getting home from picking my car up from the shop Naomi was ready to let loose. Before we were able to sit down to eat she was speed crawling back and forth in the hallway! She got some energy out before dinner but she was ready to go again once we took her out of the highchair :)

Naomi graduated to the big tub finally! She was getting a little too big for the infant/toddler tubby. She was loving it though, splashing and floating around! I think Naomi thinks we have a swimming pool in our bathroom now :)

Now that Naomi is a huge fan of solid foods she has started to push away any purees that I give her. She also likes to feed herself... such a big girl already :) You can definitely tell that she is our child!

I think Naomi is slowly turning into a monkey :) She has been getting into everything lately. Naomi was determined to get to the swing and decided that climbing into the basket of toys was the quickest route.

Don't mind the mess (even more of a reason why we can't wait to move to our new house so we have more room!!).
